Design

The site uses a grid layout and alternates between a hero image, a pattern, and text. The patterns provide visual relief without simply using white space. Colors are paired together only if they can be easily read.

Colors

The colors are based on UCP's existing logo. Tints and shades are used to create both colorful patterns that fade into the background as well as strong contrast for maximum legibility.

Fonts

The fonts were not my first choice, but they are a bit of a signature style of the agency I was working for at the time. Ultimately, I'm was pleased with how they contrast and compliment each other.
